Mobile Apps

Floaten is the first iOS application I developed. It's very simplistic, in that the main objective is to simply keep the ball afloat via tapping the screen, avoiding the black lines and attempting to hit bonus lines. You can find floaten & download it here.

Colur is the second iOS application I developed and took quite long. Unlike floaten, it is far from simplistic. Colur utilizes Apple's MapKit, as an app which uses user locations and a map UI. It also has a much deeper view hierarchy as well as overall features, such as user definitive settings, custom modals/alerts, and push notifications.
With Colur, users can watch as their local map becomes colured with the moods of the locals in their area. Moods may be tagged, enabling the community to see what is happening and where. Why not join them?
Note: unfortunately Colur is no longer functional for now as it's backend (Parse API) has been deprecated.

Poot is my third iOS application, and was the most complex of my projects thus far.
The idea was to enable users to send anonymous messages to everyone nearby. Developed in Swift 3, it utilized the mobile platform Firebase as data storage, authentication and cloud messaging.
Unlike Colur, poot was developed with a much more intelligent level of synchronous & observable event handling, utilizing newly learned architectural approaches, as well as a much more fluid UI with the help of public libraries such as PagerTabStripController. You can find poot & download it here.

SafeTap is my first Pebble smart-watch application I developed. It was made with the help of my team at HackISU - a hackathon at Iowa State University, made in C & JavaScript via Pebble's Cloud IDE.
With SafeTap, a user is basically given a watchdog for lonely/late night walks back home. It periodically checks in with the user, with a time interval that is customizable & vibrates to notify a check-in. If the user fails to check-in, an emergency contact is notified via SMS message with the location (latitude & longitude via Google maps API) on where the user is! More information about SafeTap is here.
Release date TBA.
